Publication of the final report of the ATO-RISK project

In the final report of the project " Risk acceptance criteria for automated driving for railways" (ATO-RISK), for selected risk scenarios (chapter 3) error probabilities of human actions of train drivers (chapter 4) are further developed into risk acceptance criteria for future technical systems (chapter 5). The basis for the analysis of the human error probability of individual activities are several human factors methods from the railway sector: Variations of RARA of the RSSB and the method according to Albrecht Hinzen. Within the scope of the validation (chapter 6), the determined results are compared with other known methods and assessed as comparable. In addition, a concrete implementation of the assessment of human actions is selected as target-oriented for the derivation of risk acceptance criteria.
